Lea Michele: No Plans for a Solo Project Soon!

Lea Michele Jason Merritt/Getty Images
Glee's Lea Michele has a killer voice, but we won't be hearing an album from her in the near future.
Although her costars Mark Salling and Cory Monteith are working solo musical efforts separately from their hit Fox show, Lea says she has no such plans.
"My solo project is Glee right now!" she exclaimed as she breezed through the press line at Fox's post-Globes affair in her bubblegum-pink gown, "I love putting all of my energy into our show and our albums everyday."
Lea shed some tears last night, but it wasn't because she didn't win the Best Actress Globe she was nominated for...
TWITTER: Follow PartyGirl
Lea got all teary when her BFF Chris Colfer won the Best Supporting Actor award.
"I thought I saw something wet!" Chris said on the Fox carpet as he proudly clutched his Globe, "She needed to blot her face."
"She cries a lot," Heather Morris added.
Most of the Glee gang was celebrating their win at the Fox fete, including their latest guest costar Anne Hathaway, along with Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Ryan Murphy, Mark Salling, Naya Riviera and Chord Overstreet, but they couldn't party too long.
"We have a 7 a.m. call time tomorrow," Heather told reporters, "Ryan [Murphy] said he may push it until 8. I don't care...I'd go to work on Glee at 6!"
Another big winner at the Fox bash was Natalie Portman, who changed out of her pink gown from earlier into a shorter dress and flats for the occasion. We certainly can't blame her for ditching her heels...she is pregnant!
Fox was also the party of choice for American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez and her hubby Marc Anthony, who came clutching his glass of champagne from another bash.
J. Lo seemed impatient to actually get inside as Marc stopped to hug and chat with a friend of his outside. "Come on papi!" J. Lo was overheard urging him from the carpet.
As if we're surprised that she wears the pants in that relationship!

Which Oscar Winning Actress Did Russell Brand Give His Underwear To?

Russell Brand Matt Cardy/Getty Images
Hold onto your knickers, Katy Perry!
Her hubby, Russell Brand, recently gave a pair of his worn underwear to a costar after they filmed a movie together.
And last night, when I caught up with her at the Producer's Guild Awards, she told me what she plans to do with the bequeathed briefs.
So who's the lucky (or unlucky) recipient?

Helen Mirren, Russell Brand, Twitter
It's his Arthur castmate Helen Mirren!
Before she presented at the Producer's Guild Awards last night in LA., she confirmed to me that she does indeed still have his undies.
As for what she plans to do with them? "I'm going to frame them and hang them over my bed," she said.
Wonder how her hubby will like that?
Helen, who's won an Oscar for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II, also weighed in on the upcoming royal wedding.
"I'm very happy about it." she said, "Nothing is certain in this life, but it seems like it will be a very happy marriage. I think she's great!"
Getting a seal of approval from the woman who played the Queen is almost as good as getting it from the real one, right?

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Hit B-Day Bash

Justin Bieber, Jessica Jarrell Courtesy Pastry Shoes
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are still on—and still trying to avoid getting photographed together!
Just last Saturday, the undercover couple hit Justin tourmate Jessica Jarrell's sweet sixteen party in Glendale, Calif.
The skating soiree took place at Moonlight Rollerway, and while Justin and Selena both posed with the birthday girl, they didn't take pics together:
TWITTER: Follow PartyGirl
The very next day, both Justin and Selena were at the Golden Globes, but they walked the carpet separately.
And while Selena hit up the InStyle/Warner Brothers afterparty following the awards show, Justin skipped the soiree circuit altogether.
Maybe after their yacht PDA pics hit the internet, they're trying to keep their distance in front of photographers?
For any paps hoping to get shots of them together in L.A., it's not happening this week. We hear the Biebs is out of town until next Tuesday.

Interview with Yung6ix

NOTE: In this interview shorthand writing "ACTIVATED", so don't LOL

Afrik: ‎Finally got to meet the young wizard, he is the next big tin in the rap circle in Africa, they call him   Yung 9ja Carter 6ix, so hw hav u been broada

‎Yung6ix: Me extracool like Mtn

Afrik: ‎Na so, love the spirit, so tell the fans more abt this great man in u.

‎ Yung6ix: ‎I am Yung6ix, ‎Born and raised in delta state (Warri), ‎A music friend, ‎I was actually raised by music, ‎I can't be specific about when I started but ‎have been in the industry for a while now.

Afrik: ‎Great, we listened to ur Oleku version, how did it all happen, can u give us an insight.

Yung6ix: ‎Ok, ‎About oleku. Ice prince has always been one of my favourite nigerian rappers, so I have actually been following up on his career. I think I heard he's oleku the very first day it was put on notjustok.com. Since then its been on my phone and I played it several times, somehow I feel in love with the tune. Fews day after I got the song on my phone I went to school,
Then i got ill and came back to wafftown, and all these while i have not visited a studio for almost a month and some days, which was weird.I was so uncomfortable about that and wanted to record a song asap. After taking my neccessary treatments I was fit to go back to school so I decided to record a song before I go back as part of the materials of my upcoming mixtape "Green Light Green"
But unforturnately for me my producers where very busy at the period and I couldn't record the song I intially wanted to record which wasn't oleku.
‎ I finally gave up on my plans to record a song before I left school. Well the very morning I was to leave school I woke so late and decided to go the next day. At about few minutes past 8 ma producer who runs Space Beats studio hit me up, like dude am heading to the studio holla if u in town. And I didn't reply I just went straight down to the studio. Getting there he was already feeling the song like I was, So put on the beats and was like this is what we gonna do. ‎In less than 10 minutes we where through with the chorus which was written by both of us. So I hijacked a few bars from ma saved freestyle clips and threw in. Straight freestyle at the last verse. Till date I don't know if that song is even as old as one month. Had a lil fun at the end cux I missed the mic so bad and I was leaving for school again,

There's so much to talk about but let's get on to the next, oleku was recorded cux I woke up to late to travel... I guess I missed ma bus for a trip to the lime light.
‎Too late to travel ***

Afrik: Hmmm, nice story. With the track Oleku which was widely accepted and a rumor currentle spreeding that Chocolate City wants to sign you and you are under 411 Ent. How true is that.

Yung6ix: Currently am under the management of 411. There might be a strategic relationship between 411 and Choc City On ma music project. I feel partnerships like this are needed to upgrade  our music industry in Nigeria. That's all I can say about that For now, I'll let the future do the rest of the talking on that topic.

Afrik: ‎So tell us, apart from d Oleku track, which other one have you done, what should we be expecting in your album and any plans to do a collabo with Iceprince.

Yung6ix: I have being doing lots of stuffs before now. But most of ma ish have been southbased. ‎I have been featured on over 300 songs in the south. I started my album project 2009 but I paused it to work on ma mixtape. I made a promise to my self not to write a song on the mixtape. I recorded 3 songs which where straight up freestyles but I brokethe promise when I decided to record a song which I recently shot an unofficial video for. ‎So far gone wasn't part of the freestyle songs, because it was compose from a combination of ma casual day to day freestyle clip. Expecting from me.

‎One word would define what u should expect from me and that's "HISTORY"
I intend to take african hip hop to the next level, and I am starting this from ma root which actually is the south.
As for a collabo with ice prince, yeah sure I would love to do a song with ice prince. Am currently working with a lot of big names in the industry right now which I can't disclose.

Afrik: So when should your fans be expecting your album.

Yung6ix: Hmmmm ma album, ‎That's a tough one. Right now am still building my fan base, ‎So am dropping a mixtape first. That should be out within the first quarter of 2011.

Afrik: What are your challenges as an artist

Yung6ix:The greatest challenge for me is Myself. Always tryna get better. But my music is like wine the older it gets, the better it gets.  The real competition is within and with determination there are no limits to what one can achieve. So that's it about challenges.

Afrik: ‎Honestly I must say this, you are great and never expect this much from you, and would love to thank you and your management (411 Ent.) for giving us your time. We wish you flying results this season 2011.

Yung6ix:big #southshout to ur'll, But a sneak peak..$$$ the "Green Light Green " is more than a mixtape.

KERI HILSON'S CONTROVERSIAL NEW VIDEO

Read how she defended it while speaking to Perez Hilton

“Perez, I don’t want to be held and caressed every night. Sometimes, I do want to be f*cked. You want it good sometimes. I’m talking about one man in the relationship, not being a slut or a whore or being paid to do things. It is racy but I can’t allow other people or the media to dictate what I can or can not do. TLC didn’t do that, Josephine Baker didn’t do that, Janet didn’t do that, Madonna didn’t do that. We can’t approach art from a fear perspective. You have to be fearless and stand for what you believe in. I’m a freak, it’s no surprise. I’ve been a freak in other songs. I’ve been a freak in other videos and we should make no apologies.
“If you’ve been in contact with my album..my album is called “No boys Allowed” but really means “No Bullsh*t Allowed.” In this album I was screaming in a room just like I was screaming on the song. I was screaming in a room with all my girlfriends and we were just yelling all the sh*t we really say. What would you say, what would you yell? One of the things you might yell is “I don’t wanna make love tonight, just F**k me Please!” “Come get it! I got the kind of pu**y that will keep you off the streets..Yes!..now come get!”
Perez: Did you set out to do that song with the purpose of un-wanting to be controversial?Keri: Absoutely not, everything that I wrote about is from that perspective… how we really think and feel about certain things and breaking point we really know that we deserve more. I write from a perspective of just knowing just not talking bullsh*t. [Like] “Pretty Girl Rock”, no matter what anybody says your beautiful.
Perez: Would you change anything differently about the video?Keri: Absolutely not. The dirty version was recorded…I didn’t expect to put the dirty version [on the album]. If you look closely I’m singing the cleaner version, which is actually on my album. “The Way You Love Me” I say “thug me” ..it has the same sentiment, I’m not cleaning that up. Being thugged & being F**ked are very much the same thing. I know kids might pick up the album and I didn’t want that to come out, however, I wouldn’t take it back.
Perez: Why was the dirty version of the video released if that’s not on the album?Keri: Actually, I had nothing to do with the dirty version being synced to the video because like I said, if you look closely I’m singing “thug” and I’m singing “loving” instead of “pu**y.” Like I said the sentiment is the same. I’m okay with it because I sang it and that’s the sentiment and this is meant for adults. If I were to do a video for kids, we would put back the clean version but like I said this song is not meant for children.

BE YOUR JUDGE!!!

Both these Wierdos have been mightly suspected, Over and Over again, Thier sexuality have been Questioned and both of them are said to be really fond of each other. Derenle Specifically has maintained that he is a straight dude and that he really like girls.
Well, Bright and Early this morning, These pictures and interview was leaked on the Internet....

I’m quite awed by your amorous pictures with Denrele and it tends to confirm speculations that Charly Boy is bisexual, are you truly bisexual?

Sexual preference is an individual’s prerogative. I have created perceptions in the different moods and mazes; to me what’s important is what the brand stands for.

It seems you are truly in love with Denrenle, what’s the attraction?

Yes, I love Denerele. He’s a guy who wants to be who he is despite what people say about him. I don’t think he wants to be anybody. Yes, he may have taken some of my swagger to be his own because I also took from different people to be what I am. I love him because he’s nice, he’s humble and he can act. He has the body of a rock star. It was after a photo shoot session with him that I concluded that I have to be smarter and slimmer. So, I started losing weight because one thing I cannot stand is pot belly

Have you ever been in the same room with Denrele and if yes, what transpired between both of you?

See more pictures & the entire interview when you click Continue...

Wat do you say??? Derenle has maintained his innocence and claims Its only a publicity stunt...
Is see-ing Believing???

We have been in the same room several times. But what goes on is my business

Are you bisexual?

It’s anybody’s guess

What do you find attractive in other men?

I like men who are strong, creative, consistent and tremendously focused. These are the qualities that I exude and those are the qualities that people should emulate. So it’s attractive when I find people who are already matured and know what they want in life

Has Denrele shared any of his secret past with you?

Well, you called it secret past, so why should I disclose his secret?

Would you be surprised if he confesses to be gay?
Nothing can surprise me. To each his own

Has your dad ever called you to say he never knew you would turn out like this?

Yes, he’s been saying it for the past 20 years with pride

Has your wife, Lady Diane ever complained about what a section of the public think about your sex life?

My wife is happy with my sex life. There’s nothing for her to complain about.

What about your children, aren't they feeling different about you?

My children love me to bits. They understand who their father is, not as Charly Boy. They know Charly is a joke. My granddaughter, my last born are always with me and I spend any spare time I have with them. My relationship with my children is ever solid. They are like my little friends

Charly, you are itching close to 60, and it does not seem you are slowing down?

Why should I slow down when I have a lot of energy? Why should I slow down when there are many struggles to pursue? Why should I slow down when I have energetic youths whose bubbling energies will rub off on me? Age is just a number. As far as I’m concerned, I feel 20.

So what keeps you going strong?

First of all, my family is my rock. I thank God for these beautiful children, lovely grandchildren and of course beautiful parents. I thank God for keeping my parents for me to shower love, like they did to me when I was growing in their hands. So, my family keeps me going. Other things that keep me going are fighting injustice and my quest to see a better Nigeria and better Nigerian youths.

Can you recall your early days in showbiz; has it always been a smooth ride for you?

No, it has never been. I remember when I came back from the United States to Nigeria. The whole system was quite strange to me. I could not cope with the situation in Lagos, so I had to go to the village. In actual fact, I sent Diane back to the US because it was tough. I lived in the village for eight years. I remember that was Diane that used to send money to me from the US to enable me eating good food. Though my parents were living in Ikoyi they did not want to have any of me because they believed I should apply for a proper job and not what I was doing. So, they disowned me and I also kept away from them. I was in that situation until late Tyna Onwudiwe discovered me. She took me back to Lagos on a flight after a very long time. Then a lot of people thought I was arrogant because I was just looking at everybody but they did not know I was intimidated.

Okay, what led to the radical, rebellious Charly Boy’s image?
I remember that Tina told me a lot about Onyeka, her brilliance and their project, squandering of the riches. It was a masterpiece on corruption in the high places process. I studied Fela very well and looked at his approach to issues and I concluded that I will fight against injustice in all ramifications. That really inspired the radical posture in me.

Can you recall your growing up years?

I grew up in Port Harcourt with a loving and comfortable family but my parents felt they should choose my friends but was rebellious to the extent that I did not see any excitement in the lives of those children of the rich in my neighbourhood but children of peasants, mechanics, washer man, drivers on the streets. I was touched one day when I asked one of them to bring his toys out and he had none.
So, I went home to bring my toys so that I will be able to play with them unhindered. I will bring them home but my parents would ask who their father was or where they were from and as usual I had no answers for their questions and they will flog me for bringing strangers home. So it has been a long time on the street

ADDITIONAL REPORT FROM RHYMESVILLE

MAJEK FASHEK: I DON'T DO DRUGS!!!

Majek Fashek has come a long way in reggae music. In this interview with TOPE OLUKOLE, he shares some issues concerning his music and why he was off the scene for some time. Excerpts:

You had great motivators like Aswad, Jimmy Cliff and others, but along the line, you fizzled out?
Let me tell you, you want to hear my story? I’m a gambler. If you don’t lose, you don’t gain. I have a house in Las Vegas. I’ve seen it all.
You look funny compared to the past, do you do drugs?
No, I don’t do drugs. I use spiritualism. I’m spiritually filled. I smoke Igbo and I drink.
Maybe you take too much of everything?
Maybe.
Many people, your fans, are not happy to see you like this?
I’m cutting it down.
MAJEK......We DONT BELIEVE YOU....YOU NEED MORE PPLE!!!
Last time i saw tis dude, I almost Cried!!!

Can you look at the music industry in Nigeria and compare it with the music scene in America?
Nigerians are the hope of Africa. I’ve gone to Australia, Asia, Europe and America and Nigerian music is all over the place. I like the Americans. Americans are my brothers. Nigerian music is fashioned after American. When I came back to Nigeria, I watched TV and I saw my younger brothers in music playing American kind of music. I’m very impressed they are doing American kind of songs. It means Nigerians are civilised.
But reggae is no longer on air, clubs, shows it seems dead?
No. Reggae is back. I’ve just finished some recordings. I normally don’t record in Nigeria. Reggae is street music like hip-hop. You cannot kill reggae, it’s the Rasta movement and it’s like Christianity. It’s impossible. But the fact is that the young shall grow and that’s why everyone is playing hip-hop, it’s young boys songs.

At a point, you were very relevant and rated high alongside late Lucky Dube but you did not get close to expectations, what happened?

You see in America, if you don’t play well, you can’t make money. Lucky Dube and I played together in New York for about four times, but you see, music is like competition. It is those who play it well that win. Let me tell you, we were like enemies. He was playing well and I was playing well.

Which of your songs would you say it’s your favourite?
It’s Holy spirit. Holy spirit is holy music. God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit is the one that controls the spirit of man. Holy spirit cannot be underestimated. It gives you long life and you can live for over 100 years if you walk with Holy Spirit.
You talk about Holy Spirit, is Majek Fashek a Christian, a Muslim or Buddhist?
Holy Spirit has no boundary. You can be a Christian, a Muslim, an Ogun worshipper or Olokun worshipper and you will still have Holy Spirit. So, you can be in any religion and still possess the Holy Spirit. It is the most powerful and it’s from God.
Some of your contemporaries like Orits Williki, Ras Kimono and Mandators tried to make a comeback but they were not lucky to make hits, their songs did not appeal to the younger generation, are you looking at collaborations with the younger artistes on the scene?
I’m the master. I work with some boys like Blackface, Tuface and Faze. I work with the younger generation.

What do you think is lacking in the career of these new generation of artistes?

These young artistes need good management.

What do you think you would love to change about yourself?

Me? I’m a Rastafarian, a prisoner of conscience. I have no apology to man but to God because when I die, I’m going to see God and God is going to wash me of all my sins. I only respect man. I don’t fear man.
Tell me how old are you?
I’m as old as creation
Tell me about your children and family
I have three children

Are they living in Nigeria?

No, they are in New York
How do you want to be remembered?
I’m going to disappear like Elijah, like Elisha, Jeremiah, Isaiah and Hosea.
If you look at yourself now, compared to what you looked like in the past, can you see you are looking older that your age?
No, I’m not old. I’m a Rastaman. I don’t get old, I can change my body. Pastor and prophets don’t get old, they only change their bodies.

That reminds me, do you still keep your cassocks, your bell?

My cassock is in the house; my bell is in the house too.

OBAMA ADDS NAS & LIL WAYNE TO HIS PLAYLIST.

He is already a Big fan of Jay-z, Now the President is adding Nas and lil Wayne to his Playlist...

Rolling Stone publisherJann Wenner has published an extremelylong interview withBarack Obama, during which he was asked about Rolling Stone's "specialty," popular music. Turns out the president's rap taste is expanding beyond your grandfather's plain old Jay-Z.
What music have you been listening to lately? What have you discovered, what speaks to you these days?

My iPod now has about 2,000 songs, and it is a source of great pleasure to me. I am probably still more heavily weighted toward the music of my childhood than I am the new stuff. There's still a lot of Stevie Wonder, a lot of Bob Dylan, a lot of Rolling Stones, a lot of R&B, a lot of Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Those are the old standards.
A lot of classical music. I'm not a big opera buff in terms of going to opera, but there are days where Maria Callas is exactly what I need.
Thanks to Reggie [Love, the president's personal aide], my rap palate has greatly improved. Jay-Z used to be sort of what predominated, but now I've got a little Nas and a little Lil Wayne and some other stuff, but I would not claim to be an expert. Malia and Sasha are now getting old enough to where they start hipping me to things. Music is still a great source of joy and occasional solace in the midst of what can be some difficult days.
Meanwhile FOX Nation is mad that the President listens to Gangstar rap....****Suckers****

BEEF ALERT

KID CUDI VERSUS WALE!!!

Kid Cudi and Wale are at odds and the fray has spilled into the public.

The bulk of the beef manifested itself in an interview with Complex magazine, where Kid Cudi explained that he was “unf**kwittable.” He said that Wale, a former friend, made reference to him where there was a comparison to various genres of sports.

“Did you see that Wale interview that he just did, comparing us to sports? Let me clear this up: I'm incomparable to anybody. I don't care how people take that. No one can compete with me. I'm unf**kwittable; no one can knock me off my s**t. I'm an unstoppable force, I'm a bullet. My trajectory is to the sky. N***as got to do something really spectacular to f**k with me and my realm, and n***as be so bitter that you hear it in their voice.”

The freestyle from Wale made reference to an incident where Cudi punched a man that got on stage during his performance. Cudi also said that Kanye West, who signed the
Cleveland rapper to G.O.O.D. Music, doesn’t like Wale’s music.

On Twitter, Wale responded “n***as lettin that liquid cocaine get to them.....lets go then.” The remark is a slight to Cudi’s arrest in June on charges that he was using the substance. Cudi has since admitted to using it.

Cudi said he would no longer tolerate disrespect his interview with Complex.

“The last album, I let people dis me, throw out those jabs in their verses and have their little slick remarks. This time around, I'm not f*cking around. I have no time to think about other n***as. These other mother***ers like feeding off another n***a's energy, so they mention their name. You hear me talk about n***as? I don't even talk about Kanye, and that's my homeboy! They talk about Kanye like they're bosom buddies with this n***a. Talking about "I be in
Hawaii"—man, shut the f**k up, why you got to tell everybody everything? Then people like Wale get mad that 'Ye ain't give him no beats—'Ye ain't give you no beats because we ain't f***ing with your raps. It's not a conspiracy theory. We don't f*ck with you musically, so we're not going to provide music for you. The s**t is a service, it's a quality of a certain standard. N***as are just so thirsty it's ridiculous. I've been eating humble pie forever, and people still call me an a**hole. These people don't know my f***ing life—now I'm going to give them something to talk about."

Wale has not commented further.

NAS BLACKS OUT KELIS'S TATTOO
